Who else has pinwheel eyes from this eclipse? This post was so hard to write, probably because of the interception in my chart that makes me have double Gemini and Sagittarius! Gemini and Sagittarius deal with communication and what you know but with this eclipse, my brain is feeling a bit loopy. Hopefully, I can get across what I want to say, so bear with me.

This full moon/lunar eclipse in Gemini at 8º, hit us in the wee hours of the morn, and is the second part of the Gemini/sag eclipse cycle that started in June 2020 and ending December 2021. When a full moon is also a lunar eclipse, it’s extra powerful, like X-Men’s Jean Grey becoming the Phoenix. Jean is already pretty powerful but then when she merges with an alien to become the Phoenix! Be careful not to shred anyone with your mind grapes of telepathy though, because with brainiac Gemini and Sagittarius energetic influences, coupled with the power of our emotional moon, it may be hard not to become overwhelmed and lash out. And let’s not forget, with this full moon conjunct our North Node we are ever closer to our density- I mean our destiny and sometimes that can feel scary!

With these astrological cycles you can always reflect on the changes you may have experienced along the way. For example, let’s think back to June when we had a lunar eclipse in Sagittarius (law, what we know) and a solar eclipse in Gemini (how we learn and communicate)? Many of us were marching in the streets, communicating our disgust for the disregard of Black lives at the hands of the police. That fiery summer may have led to many disagreements and arguments that ended friendships and pushed us to review old belief systems—because that’s what eclipses do, they bring up things for review.

Now with the lunar eclipse in Gemini and a solar eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14th, what will these energies reveal? Lunar eclipses expose what may have been hidden, and in Gemini it may help you communicate how you’re feeling.

With Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, still in the deep waters of Scorpio until Dec 1st (is that tomorrow already??) you could share something that has been buried. Then with Mercury moving into Sagittarius we may be dropping some truth bombs because Sag’s are known to be truthful, sometimes to a fault. However, it’s that ability to express your truth that will allow you to make better choices as we move into this new age. When this eclipse cycle ends next year in December, make note of what you may have had to relearn and where the truth has taken you. Oh and on the 28th of November, Neptune went direct which could bring more of a stark reality to what’s been hidden.

Gemini’s this is in your sign, so you’ll be dealing with how you want to show up in the world, while Sagittarius balances that energy in the house of partnerships. It will also be impactful to the other mutable signs of Virgo and Pisces, hitting those folks in the career sector for Virgo and home life for Pisces. And air signs, give your brains a break, go outside for a while.
