Mars in Taurus January 6 - March 3rd, Slow down and make a plan. 

Mars has been at home in Aries for 6th months because its retrograde timeline is about every two years (this means Mars will be direct until late October 2022). Mars represents our drive and anger, and its stay-cation in Aries made some of us feel cagey, impulsive and make rash decisions—like trying to open schools and businesses without a game plan. Millions also took that intense frustration and tried to use it to create a positive change such as protesting police brutality (Mars rules police) against BIPOC and women.

All that fire that Mars carries will now be weighed down by the earthiness of stable Taurus. 

RozMos Moment of Reflection...

Many people ask why it takes so long for things to change. Well, if you look at astrology here’s a big part of the answer—when planets move through the signs, both the planet’s energy and the signs energy mix. It’s like the color wheel. Yellow and blue make green, which we like, it’s easy and expected. However, if you mix green with orange, it may be hard to understand where that shade of brown goes in your very bright world of rainbow colors. It doesn’t mean that if you’ve got an air planet in an earth sign you’re doomed to be an old curmudgeon, you just may be gifted with seeing details others gloss over, and we need that for balance. All sunshine or all doom and gloom gets boring, amirite? 

So long story short (too late!) Mars moving in to Taurus can create a build up of emotions that can cause an explosive reaction, but it’s also a good mix of energy to slow down and plan out our goals. We need this energy because with much misinformation still floating around and Mercury retrograding in the air signs that rule communication and relationships, we need to take a time out and make sure that our plans for the future make sense. Sydney and I are doing this now as we look at our podcast and making changes so that we can how move forward from all that we learned last year.

These changes are necessary because the old ways have ended. It’s why the Republicans are doing everything in their power to screw with the election, but we all know their reign of terror is over and the new age is here. It’s like when Luke, in Return of the Jedi, tells his dad to let go of his hate, but Vader says it’s too late, he cannot change because he is controlled by the power of the dark side. But when he does let go and saves his kid, REDEMPTION! I love that part.

Just a quick heads up btw: Things will be intense the week of January 10 - 20th (just in time for Inauguration Day!) So stay away from power struggles and remember to KISS, Keep It Simple, Sweetie! There are calmer days ahead.
