New Moon in Gemini: Thinking about our feelings
New moon in Gemini at 2° and Happy Birthday to the Twins! When it’s a new moon we can set our intentions of what we’d like to manifest and then harvest during the full moon. The Gemini twins may make us more chatty and give us moments to share our thoughts with others. It’s also a good time to decide to learn something new, because Gemini rules how we learn.
With Mercury at home in Gemini right now, as well as the sun, moon and Venus retrograde, the mind could be racing with so many ideas. I always think of Gemini as the internet. There’s so much good information out there and so many great things to learn. Yet, when Gemini gets caught up in its nervous energy—which is often because they rule the nervous system, there’s just as much misinformation and distracting cat videos to send us down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories that you might cause your brain to malfunction. The airy mutable energy of Gemini quickly moves from this to that and what may be true today might be different tomorrow. It’s not like when we’re in Virgo season—both ruled by Mercury, but Virgo’s earthiness slows you down a bit and that energy becomes the library. It’s just facts and figures, none of this new fandangled technology!
So we need to slooooow it down. Hopefully the moon trine Saturn will bring us down to earth but we need to be willing to mind our own business and focus on learning new skills that may benefit not only ourselves but also our community. Just watch out for fiery Mars squaring the moon to make us so impatient! I know, two months at home is rough but be grateful for the things we do have, like our lives. Neptune is also still at home in Pisces which just creates more confusion, especially in pertaining to our health.
So wear your mask. No, you won’t die of CO2 poisoning, just ask a doctor or nurse if you’re unsure—you know ask the experts that wear them all the time! Also don’t be snarky, (see above note on how not to respond when someone says wearing a mask will give you CO2 poisoning😅) enjoy thinking about a helpful skill you’d like to learn, read or write a book, and do your best to keep it real.
