Happy Aries season & international astrology day!

Aries dates 2021.png

It’s Aries season, and with it brings the celebration of Ostara or the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and Mabon or Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. As much as I love a good autumn day, I’m excited for the prospect of spring because of the new life it brings. I’m sure you all were working hard on creative projects during Pisces season, but now as the sun shines in Aries, its place of exaltation—it will allow us to see those first buds of hard work begin to sprout 🌱

Not only do we get to celebrate a new season, but it’s also considered the New Year in astrology, and marks International Astrology Day. This is our chance to start on a clean slate and use the independent, me first attitude of Aries for self-promotion and the fire to move forward. We also get Venus moving into Aries tomorrow and you could be feeling romantic vibes. The possibilities of feeling Cupid’s arrow could have you finally connecting with an important someone because on the 26th, the sun and Venus will be conjunct at 5º—the number of love, change and freedom. Venus will be in her place as the evening star, and hopefully you’ll be able to spot her during a romantic stroll with yourself or someone you love. Shortly after the full moon in Libra, on the 28th at 8º, will shine a light where we need balance in our relationships.

We also have an opportunity for great healing as the Wounded Healer Chiron conjuncts Venus and the Sun. You may have a dark night of the soul moment as loving Venus tries to tend to the deep emotional wounds of Chiron, but with this healing, the sun will be able to shine brighter for you, giving much needed insight on your purpose. It’s always darkest before the dawn, so don’t despair, the light is there!

At the end of the month, Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces. We all know that Mercury can barely stay afloat in this watery position, and with Neptune still here, communication is still unclear. You’ll have to rely on your Jedi training and perhaps reach out with your feelings because, like Obi-Wan says, “your eyes can deceive you, don’t trust them.” Master Kenobi definitely had some heavy Pisces placements in his chart! 😂
