Venus in Aquarius Equanimity is key

Discernment vs detachment

Venus has joined Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, and the Sun in nonconformist Aquarius. Venus of course, rules what we love and thrives in a sensual environment. Although, Aquarians can be some of the most thoughtful individuals around, they don’t often give off the lovey-dovey vibe that is felt when Venus is hanging in Pisces or at home in Taurus or Libra. The goddess of love expresses her self in unique and often eccentric ways here, causing us to be drawn to unconventional or unusual relationships. A change in perspective could create a positive spin on stagnate relationships. On the down side, watch out for becoming too detached and independent. Like Thanos and that darn bedazzled glove—Venus does love shiny things but if you rebel too much you might end up throwing the ones you love to their impending doom. So like, don’t do that.

Of course my happy-go-lucky Jupiter always wants to come in with some positivity (and why not? We need it!) Since Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius, too, this detached vibe could turn into one of discernment—allowing you to to look beyond the ordinary routine with past relationships and see them for what they really are—or aren’t.

We also have Mars square the Sun. These two planets in fixed signs could create some tension and you could be feeling anger or frustration of not being able to go or move forward as quickly as you’d like. Take a moment for yourself if that is coming in and treat your inner child to ice cream or a small treat (don’t buy anything crazy because #retrograde). You could even tap into the humanitarian power of Aquarius and pay it forward. And with it being Black History month, you couldn’t have picked a better time to help elevate Black Americans by donating to a cause or organization (that’s Aquarius!) to support our communities.
