Mars has been at home in Aries for 6th months because its retrograde timeline is about every two years (this means Mars will be direct until late October 2022). Mars represents our drive and anger, and its stay-cation in Aries made some of us feel cagey, impulsive and make rash decisions—like trying to open schools and businesses without a game plan.

Now, that Jupiter has moved out of the heavy energy of Capricorn, it can breathe a bit better in the airiness of Aquarius! (Apparently, I’ve woken up on the rhyme side of the bed this morning!) We also have to remember that with the traditional ruler of Aquarius—Saturn moving in, it could be easier to take our ideas and make them reality. Just watch out for the “hive-mind” though.

The eclipse is connected to the lunar eclipse we had on Dec 1st in Gemini, and the midpoint of a three-cycle eclipse that hits Gemini and Sagittarius until December of next year. Again, Gemini is how we learn and communication, while Sagittarius is higher learning and how we share it. With the solar eclipse in Sagittarius it’s the “Hero’s journey” or call to adventure….

This full moon/lunar eclipse in Gemini at 8º, hit us in the wee hours of the morn, and is the second part of the Gemini/sag eclipse cycle that started in June 2020 and ending December 2021. Click through to dive deep!

Happy Friday the 13th! It's a day to celebrate the Goddess, Freya, and the wonders of creation. Today also happens to be the day that Mars goes direct after a two month retrograde in Aries. Venus is also in Libra, opposing Mars. It’s a day when the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine can come together to find balance. Also, when I say Divine Feminine or Divine Masculine, that doesn’t mean gender, cuz we all have both energies.

Today as the sun rises, Libra comes over the horizon to start the second half of the year. You can even see it in our symbol. See the line on the bottom is the horizon and the hump on top is the sun coming up. Cool right?

Although the Pocahontas movie is extremely problematic, as most of these princess movies are, the song “Colors of the Wind” hits the feel of this watery moon. Sitting at 10º, the number of determination, independence, and exploration, we may feel compelled to “run the hidden pine trails of the forest” or ask a “grinning bobcat why he grinned.”

This full moon in Aquarius at 11° square Uranus (Aquarius’ ruler), is another crack in the establishment that began back in January 2020. The light is here to expose the flaws of our limited thinking. The full moon will allow us to clear away old ideas and look at life from a new perspective.

As Saturn continues to retrograde in Capricorn (work and status quo) and oppose our Cancer moon (emotions and security), it pulled us back into our old ways or the “things that were.” Now we’ve come to the end of all things (well maybe not all things, but it feels like it!) as the moon hits 28° of Cancer, giving us a clearer view of what must end—and instead of looking back, we must move on.

On this 4th of July, America celebrates its birthday as a full moon lunar eclipse in Capricorn at 13º illuminates the night sky. The red warrior planet—Mars, has returned home from its frustratingly cold time in Pisces. It’s journey through that watery and emotional sign may be the reason Mars will be spending an extra amount of time at home (7 months! as opposed to 6-8 weeks) to dry out and get fired up. In bold Aries, Mars rules!!! —and he can be his fiery self, powerful and focused.

We have five months of Neptune going back through Pisces. Even though there’s a possibility of illusions being shattered at least you’ll know the truth. It may be a shock to the system to believe but you can take action by tapping into your spiritual and creative gifts, to make something better.

Welcome to Cancer season! The universe has gifted us with a new moon, solar eclipse, and the summer solstice bringing in a time of reflection, balance and finding our power.

It’s that time again when the fastest planet in our solar system—Mercury! begins to retrograde in the sky from June 17- July 12. Speedy Mercury retrogrades three to four times a year for three weeks and with it, a much needed moment to slow down and revisit, review, or regroup.

Every 27-30 years Saturn returns back to a sign, referred to in the Astrology world as “The Saturn Return.” Saturn has recently entered Aquarius, and it will retrograde into Capricorn for a few months before transitioning into Aquarius in December where it will stay for about 3 years.

The full moon in Sagittarius is also a lunar eclipse. Eclipses can push things forward quickly or close a door. Lunar eclipses can also show you where someone could be influencing you to do things you don’t want to do.

New moon in Gemini at 2° and Happy Birthday to the Twins! When it’s a new moon we can set our intentions of what we’d like to manifest and then harvest during the full moon.

As Jupiter retrogrades in work horse Capricorn from 27 - 14°, this time will have us reevaluating our impact on the citizens of Earth. Capricorn rules money, work, and tradition, and spiritual Jupiter will have us thinking about better ways to go about these themes.

Ah yes, nostalgia is in full swing with the Venus retrograde May 12 -June 25, 2020. Let the emotions roll on through. There may be some hidden messages or unresolved feelings about the past that may surface, so don’t resist it.
